JBL: The first active subwoofer of the L10cs Classic Series
With a 25cm woofer and an internal 250W RMS amplifier, JBL L10cs is able to develop all the required low frequencies, from each type of connected audio system. From the simplest and classic two-channel HiFi system to the most complex multichannel home theater system, the subwoofer JBL L10cs adds depth to music and more impact to movies. It also fits well into any furniture, whether modern
that classic, through its veneer in real wood with black essence or natural walnut. JBL L10cs combines a wide range of speakers JBL and not, not necessarily only of the Classic line.
Characteristics
- 25cm Woofer with poly-cellulose cone
- 250W RMS internal amplification (500W peak)
- Adjusting both volume and crossover frequency
- Phase switch 0/180°
- Automatic switching/off
- Real wood veneer with black finish or natural walnut
25cm Woofer with floor emission
The L10cs sub has a 25cm woofer, loaded in bass reflex, which emits towards the floor. It is driven by a 250 watt power amplifier, able to offer low frequency performance without compromises, dynamics and speeds that make the film soundtrack and music an invaluable experience.
Phase control
A very important parameter, and often neglected, is the subwoofer phase. Depending on its position in the environment and on the basis of the interface with satellite speakers, the subwoofer could be out of phase, with low frequencies or in some cases almost canceled, reducing performance and sound impact. When the subwoofer is properly in phase, the satellite audio will be clearer and you will have the maximum sound impact in the low frequencies. The phase switch serves precisely for this purpose, determines the movement forward or backward of the woofer cone in the presence of the signal. The best way to understand if the phase is correct is to listen to a track that you know well and try to move the phase switch to the position where the low frequencies are most present.
Switching on/off
Both ignition and subwoofer shutdown are very important, especially if the subwoofer is located away from the electronics or is uncomfortable to reach. The L10cs subwoofer automatically switches on when it hears the input signal and returns to standby mode when this signal fails.
