Velodyne IMPACT X 12 Subwoofer Active 12"

The Velodyne IMPACT X 12 is an active subwoofer that focuses on the American brand's Impact X series Velodyne Acoustics, as it uses a 12" woofer (30 cm) at front emission, while the reflex conduit facing down contributes to increasing the amount of low frequencies emitted.

The woofer is made with a paper membrane reinforced with a double magnet system in ferrite and a 52 mm four-layer mobile coil, powered by a Class D amplifier that guarantees a power of 600 W dynamic and 300 W RMS.

Its design is simple and elegant, with a white-finished MDF cabinet that allows for easier insertion in the environment, even in the most modern ones without ever being invasive, graced by bevelled edges and with removable grid. On the front we find a small display with adjustable light showing the sockets of the integrated DSP, because the Velodyne IMPACT X 12 uses a set of preset DSPs that adapt the issue according to the content reproduced to better adapt it to environmental situations.

This subwoofer proves therefore not only powerful but also versatile, always offering exceptional sound quality, thanks to its overall frequency response from 29 to 180 Hz (±3 dB) and from 23 to 250 Hz (±10 dB), allowing to reproduce the deepest bass without distortion.

Thanks in fact to the anti-clipping technology implemented, this ensures that a reduced distortion level is always ensured to the minimum, in order to ensure a greater "cleaning" of the bass.

Finally, remember the presence of a handy remote control that allows you to easily control the volume level, the phase, the crossing frequency and the required DSP mode, comfortably from your listening point.
