Velodyne IMPACT X 10 Subwoofer Active 10"

The Velodyne IMPACT X 10 is an active subwoofer that combines a 10-inch (25cm) front-emission woofer with a Class D amplifier and a bass reflex port down that helps increase the bass strength.

Despite this sub represents the entry level of the American brand's Impact X series Velodyne Acoustics still incorporates all the know-how achieved by the brand over the many years of production.

At the construction level, the IMPACT X 10 comes with a simple and elegant design, with a black-coloured MDF cabinet, with rounded corners and bevelled and removable front grill, which allows it to match perfectly with modern interiors.

The use of a subwoofer today is no longer confined to purely home cinema use and Velodyne IMPACT X 10 is a classic example, as its use is really versatile, always offering exceptional sound power and quality. Thanks in fact to its woofer with paper membrane reinforced with double magnet system in ferrite and a 52 mm four-layer mobile coil, powered by a Class D amplifier with 500W peak, it manages to ensure a total frequency response from 32 to 180 Hz (±3 dB) and from 25 to 250 Hz (±10 dB), reproducing the deepest bass without distortion.

Thanks to the different selectable DSP modes, environmental modes can also be monitored, while the anti-clipping technology used, ensures that distortion is reduced to a minimum for greater "cleanliness" of the bass, which makes it really effective for any purpose is used.

To make the setting simpler, there is a useful remote control that allows you to easily control the volume, phase, intersection frequency, brightness of the front display and DSP modes, comfortably from the listening position.
