Rega, starting from its entry level reference turntable, the Rega planar 1, has realized the Rega Planar 1 plus creating a new reference turntable in the entry level range with Pre-Phono Integrated

For the first time Planar 1 is equipped with a Phono preamp set  and specifically Rega A2D foam specially modified.

In fact, Planar 1 PLUS benefits from optimized circuiting thanks to the removal of the USB connection on Fono Mini A2D and the connection of the arm cables directly to the phono stage, which allows to prevent any external interference and shorten the signal path.

RegaPlanar1 Plus shares all the features of the Rega planar 1 simple

Arm – The brand new RB110 arm uses the latest technologies introduced by Rega for upper-end arms, zero-tolerance bearings ensure minimum friction (preventing patent). Automatic bias adjustment makes Planar 1 the most Plug&Play turntable we have ever built. New ergonomics, redesigned hanger for better usability and aesthetics.

Head – Planar 1 comes with head Rega Carbon MM Pre-assembled

24V synchronous motor – Planar 1 is the first turntable Rega entry level to mount a 24v synchronous motor, a new PCB board and aluminum pulley. All this has allowed to reduce background noise and improve rotation stability.

Base – The base with high gloss acrylic finish and the new position of the switch on/off make it even more elegant and simple to insert in any environment. Two available finishes: black high gloss and white high gloss.

Pin Fixing – Brass pin completely redesigned to offer better fastening and reduce stress on the pin while reducing potential energy transfer (patenting patent)

Plate – New phenolic resin plate with a larger mass and a thickness of 23mm to ensure better fly effect and better rotation stability

Redesigned feet – New redesigned feet to ensure greater stability and reduce unwanted vibration transfer

Engine cover – New engine cover with integrated cooling

Integrated Phono Stadium – The integrated phono stage is developed to amplify the MM cartridge signal, so you can connect Planar 1 Plus to any standard line input.

Counterweight – New counterweight “Plug&Play” from 111
