The new VC-S3 is a washbasin machine that can be considered almost professional. The quality of the product, compared to the version that replaces, is superior and with completely new features. Vinyl discs, to play well, need specific maintenance. Dry cleaning with common bristles brushes, is definitely useful, but removes only coarsely dust. To effectively clean disk grooves, it is necessary to wash it. To get a perfect cleaning, you also need a suitable cleaning liquid. Alcoholic detergent liquids can damage the musical micro-information of the grooves. For this reason Pro-Ject designed the new eco-friendly and non-alcoholic cleaning liquid "Wash it 2". This solution is already premised, so it is no longer necessary to dilute it. This avoids accidentally using the tap water not suitable for mixing. Wash it 2 optimizes the cleaning performance and with the power of VC-S3 you completely clean the disks in one or at the most two steps.

The new Magnetic Clamp, not only seals the disk label from the cleaning liquid to avoid damaging it, but also speeds the entire cleaning process. Place the disk on the machine, lock it with the new clamp and you are ready; you will no longer have to screw the clamp on the pin as in the past. The metal arm, easy to use, has been further stabilized mechanically and concentrates all the suction power directly on the disk surface. In combination with the new self-adhesive strip of the arm, the discs are cleaned perfectly. The internal cleaning liquid collection container (2.5 liters) is now easier to empty. In addition, if you are always using for cleaning the Wash it 2 cleaner solution, this has been designed to evaporate more easily, so as not to quickly fill the internal collection tank. The new VC-S3 is produced in Europe with high quality materials and excellent construction quality.
